Would PRP benefit my 18 year old baseball player with shoulder problems?

My son is 18, playing his first year of baseball in college. He just had an MR Arthrogram of his left shoulder.

The impressions on the report were:

– Mild sclerotic change in the posterior glenoid.
– otherwise normal MR arthrogram of the left shoulder.

The ortho who saw him is the team doc. He seems very knowledgeable and does not recommend surgery but rather PT for 3 months to strengthen muscles around the shoulders. He also said he has very loose joints. Would PRP treatment be a benefit for him?

I would agree with his team doc.  It sounds like PRP would be unnecessary and he likely will respond well to PT.
