Platelet Rich Plasma Injection Proven Significantly More Effective Than Cortisone for Plantar Fasciitis

Great PRP news came out of the AAOS (American Acadamy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting today. A study was done on people that suffered from severe chronic plantar fasciitis. It was found that platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatment was significantly more effective than the traditional form of cortisone.
